Discover the transformative journey of Joseph, the first participant in the Next Chapter Program—a collaborative initiative by The Salvation Army, Delgado, and One Way Love. This program is dedicated to empowering homeless teens in St. Tammany Parish by offering stability, hope, and a pathway to a brighter future. Joseph's story is one of resilience. After facing countless challenges and instability in his young life, the Next Chapter Program provided him with a safe, nurturing environment. Through a comprehensive approach that includes vocational training in high-demand trades, rent-free living, meals, and the support of a dedicated case worker, Joseph is building a foundation for success. Upon completing the program, The Salvation Army will assist Joseph in securing a job and finding a permanent home.
