Legal Assistance
Breaking Barriers, Protecting Futures
For many young people facing housing instability, family conflict, or financial hardship, legal challenges can become overwhelming obstacles to stability. Whether it’s securing identification documents, navigating the court system, or accessing legal protections, youth without support are often left vulnerable.
At One Way Love, we help young people understand their rights, access legal resources, and connect with professionals who can advocate on their behalf. Through our partnerships with local attorneys, legal aid organizations, and the Youth Service Bureau (YSB), we ensure at-risk youth have the legal guidance they need to move forward with confidence.

Our Approach
Connecting Youth to Trusted Legal Support
Navigating the legal system is complex, costly, and intimidating, especially for young people without a stable support system. Through our network of attorneys, legal aid partners, and youth advocacy organizations, we help young people:
-
Resolve legal issues that create barriers to housing, employment, and education.
-
Access legal representation for family law, emancipation, and juvenile cases.
-
Obtain identification, work permits, and important legal documents.
-
Understand their rights and responsibilities in the legal system.
Partnership with the Youth Service Bureau (YSB)
Through our partnership with YSB’s Court Programs, we help young people access:
-
Crossroads Program – An intervention initiative that offers juvenile offenders an opportunity to take accountability and make positive changes.
-
FINS (Families in Need of Services) Program – Helping families resolve legal and behavioral issues before they escalate into court involvement.
