At One Way Love, a new year isn’t just a fresh calendar—it’s a renewed promise.

For the hundreds of teens in our community couch surfing.
For the single moms struggling to keep the lights on.
For the youth aging out of foster care with nowhere to turn.
2025 will be a year of growth, structure, and deeper impact as we transition from a grassroots effort into a full-fledged organization with programming and processes that will allow us to reach more youth than ever before.
Last year, we took big steps forward. This year, we take even bigger ones.
A Year of Transformation in 2024
In 2024, your support made life-changing impact possible:
🔹 75+ laptops were donated to help students stay in school and prepare for college
🔹 Thousands of dollars in gift cards were provided so young people could buy food, clothes, and daily essentials
🔹 Multiple teens received donated vehicles—restored and repaired—so they could reliably get to work and school
🔹 We funded driving school for youth without parental support, allowing them to earn their licenses and gain independence
🔹 We expanded our emergency support services, covering rent and utilities for families in crisis

A Year of Expansion & Impact
This year, One Way Love is stepping fully into what it was always meant to be—a structured, sustainable organization with the capacity to reach more youth, more efficiently, and more effectively than ever before.
Here’s what’s ahead:
🚀 The Official Launch of Our Mentorship Program
For years, mentorship at One Way Love has been organic—volunteers stepping in when and where they could. Now, it’s time to build something bigger.
At A Night of Hope on March 22, 2025, we will officially launch One Way Love’s Mentorship Program, a structured initiative designed to:
✅ Pair youth with long-term mentors who will provide guidance, stability, and encouragement.
✅ Teach critical life skills—budgeting, job readiness, goal setting, and emotional resilience.
✅ Provide a direct support system for young people navigating trauma, school, and the transition to independence.
This program will ensure that no young person walks through hardship alone.

🤝 Strengthening Our Partnership with The Salvation Army
In 2025, we’re also deepening our collaboration with The Salvation Army through the Next Chapter Program, which provides:
✔️ Vocational training in high-demand trades, equipping young adults with job-ready skills.
✔️ Holistic support services, including rent-free housing, meals, and personalized case management.
✔️ Employment & housing assistance, helping program graduates transition into stable futures
This partnership allows us to extend our reach beyond immediate crisis intervention, providing long-term solutions for the youth we serve.
Together, we are breaking the cycle of poverty and homelessness.
📋 Expanding Case Management & Support Services
Right now, when a young person comes to us, they receive one-on-one support—but our ability to provide ongoing, structured case management has been limited.
That changes in 2025.
🔹 A formalized case management system—so every young person has a personalized plan for stability.
🔹 Expanded emergency housing support, because no teen should have to wonder where they’ll sleep tonight.
🔹 Increased partnerships with mental health professionals, because healing from trauma requires more than just survival
We are moving from reacting to crises to preventing them—and that shift will change everything.
